Our Vision

The bamboo represents flexibility in adversity. Young children with neurodivergent needs are like bamboo shoots, simple yet resilient. At Bamboo Shoots Kindergarten, our vision is to see every child with special learning needs grow with confidence and dignity, and empowered to reach their full potential with hope for the future. Given the right coaching, any stunted growth can be minimized, and God given life can flourish.

Who we support

Bamboo Shoots Kindergarten supports children with neurodivergent needs such as:
– Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
– Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
– Intellectual disability
– Specific learning disorders
– Self regulation issues

Our Services

Admission & Support Framework

Assessment

Students are assessed based on their support needs and academic needs before admission.

Individual & Group Sessions

Student are placed into groups and individual session to evaluate dynamic before placement.

Classroom

Student are placed into classes for effective learning and for social interactions

Our Team

Bamboo Shoots have 7 full time teachers, 1 administrative staff and 1 part-time staff. As well as many professional visiting volunteers like Ms Silviane, a Swiss expert in Special Education and Dr Lai, a consultant child & adolescents psychiatrist, from Malaysia.
